California To Ration Guns

This is a follow up to a previous article titled: “Communist Media Caught Lying Again About Guns And Kids”

If you grew up during the Second World War as I did, then you likely remember the rationing of almost everything…except guns! I remember the ration cards like the ones pictured.

Now a proposed bill has the specific purpose of preventing residents in the Communist state of California from being able to purchase more than one gun per month. Yes, I’m talking about gun rationing my friend. Once this is law, then it can be incrementally amended to one gun per year, then one gun period, then no guns. And this my friend is the agenda of the Communist anti- American Dark State. A totally disarmed and dependent and helpless populous.

Current California law already makes it illegal for private citizens to purchase more than one handgun a month. The new purposed SB 497 amends that restriction to include rifles and shotguns. In other words ALL FIRE ARMS. See what I mean about incrementally amended?

This is the Law that is being violated by the Communist state of California: “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” We used to be a country of laws to protect our freedom, now we will be a county of laws to promote despotism.

You see that part where it says …”being necessary to the security of a free state?” That my friend is the whole reason for the Constitutional law of the …”right of the people to keep and bear arms.” It’s to “Secure a Free State”. There is no other security for freedom. Once that is gone - then all your freedom IS GONE! Not to mention the fact that to infringe on that law is illegal. “…shall not be infringed” What part of infringed don’t the hate America Judges understand?

Now, I’m not talking about concerns that there will be enough food or other resources for everyone like was used to justify rationing during World War II. We’re not talking rationing here because, this is to make sure everyone in California has a chance to purchase at least one gun. No, apparently, State Senator Antony Portantino (Democrat Communist from-Pasadena) thinks it’s a good way to advance the cause of tyranny. Never mind that it, even if it passes, it won’t apply to him. Laws never apply to the elitists. Daniel Jennings gives us more details about this lunacy in the Communist State of California:

The California bill, sponsored by State Senator Antony Portantino (D-Pasadena), was labeled “firearms rationing” by the Firearms Policy Coalition.

“A person shall not make an application to purchase more than one firearm within any 30-day period,” SB 497 states.

The bill applies not only to pistols but also to rifles and shotguns.

(In other words ALL GUNS)

It specifically exempts law enforcement agencies, correctional facilities, licensed firearms dealers, motion picture and television production companies, and licensed collectors.

Current California law makes it illegal for private citizens to purchase more than one handgun a month. SB 497 extends that restriction to rifles and shotguns.

“This bill would make the 30-day prohibition and the dealer delivery prohibition described above applicable to all types of firearms,” the legislative counsel’s digest of SB 497 states. Dealers who violate SB 497 can be prosecuted as criminals.

The Senate passed the bill by a vote of 25-13. To become law, it must pass the state Assembly and then be signed by Gov. Jerry Brown.

What I want to know is what in the world that State Senator Portantino (and the other Communist Senators that voted for the bill) hopes to accomplish with this bill. So, they stop someone from buying a second gun this month. The bill doesn’t stop someone from buying a gun right now, (whch is all some nutcase needs to go commit a horrible crime), and the bill doesn’t stop a criminal from stealing or obtaining a gun by some other illegal manner. In other words the bill doesn’t do anything except violate the Second Amendment.

THE BOTTOM LINE: All this bill will accomplish, is that it will allow these State Senators to say that they helped to protect the children (without actually helping at all, kind’a like GUN FREE ZONE signs protect children, except it somehow didn’t work in the case of Sandy Hook of course) and It will place an unnecessary burden on law-abiding gun shops to have to go through the process of making sure a customer hasn’t already (legally) bought a gun of any kind this month before selling them a gun. How is he going to do that??? Well…you do know this will also require a complete online gun registry, how else would a gun dealer know if his customer has bought a gun recently. And the gun registry is always the predecessor to GUN CONFUSCATION my friend.

Communist Russia or Nazi Germany it doesn’t really matter, it’s all “Tyranny” my friend.

All Anti-gun legislation is ridiculous and a waste of time and money as well as promoting crime, not to mention that it is also illegal under the Constitution.

But then Communists don’t care anything about the Constitution or a free America. Their goal is Tyranny…
