Total destruction of Sinjar and a growing genocide of the Yezidi people by ISIS

After years of reluctance by the U.S. to even use the term, Islamic Jihad and genocide, Secretary of State John Kerry finally declared on Thursday that the Islamic State militant group Daesh or (ISIS) is in fact committing genocide in Iraq and Syria. "My purpose here today is to assert, in my judgment, [ISIS] is responsible for genocide against groups in areas under its control including Yazidis, Christians and Shiite Muslims," Kerry said at a news conference at the State Department.

Kerry added that ISIS, which he referred to as Daesh, the Arabic acronym for the group, is “genocidal by self-proclamation, by ideology and by actions.” He added that the group has committed crimes against humanity and is responsible for Genocidal Murder against those groups, in addition to some Sunni Muslims and Kurds.  “The fact is Daesh kills Christians because they are Christians, Yazidis because they’re Yazidis, Shiite because they are Shiite,” Kerry said.

And then we have a Muslim President that will not even admit that ISIL is Islam.  One only need to dust of the Quran and open and read it to discover that is a lie.  So not only is ISIL or ISIS committing Islamic Jihad just as it is clearly laid out in the Quran and the Hadith playbook, but their intent is to annihilate everyone that isn’t a Muslim Jihadist…everywhere in the world.  

ISIS’s recent murdering rampage against the Yazidis has seen around 7,500 members of the religious minority, mainly women and children, held as slaves by the militant group. In August 2014, ISIS members stormed Sinjar, in northern Iraq, murdering around 6,000 men and older women and taking thousands women and girls as young as 6 years of age into sexual slavery, repeatedly raping them and selling them to fighters in public marketplaces. The Yazidis were forced to hide on Mount Sinjar without food or water, and were given the standard Islamic choice between converting to Islam or be murdered.

“To date, hundreds of women have been killed in captivity while many others have committed suicide,” according to the Yazidi organization Yazda.

A 2015 United Nations report said Yazidi boys between the ages of 8 and 15 were subjected to military and religious training by ISIS members, were taught how to shoot a gun and made to watch beheadings.

In 2015, ISIS published a video showing the beheading (not shown here) and shooting of 30 Ethiopian Christians in Libya. The group has also kidnapped hundreds of Assyrian Christians and overrun a number of Christian towns in Syria.

There have been repeated calls for the U.S. to declare ISIS’s actions in Iraq and Syria as genocide, falling in deaf ears in the Whitehouse. A number of other international groups have already called the group’s actions a genocide, including the European Parliament and the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.  But Obama ignores it.

Earlier this week, the U.S. House voted unanimously, 393 to 0, to declare that ISIS is committing genocide against religious groups in Syria and Iraq. The first time the U.S. House declared a genocide was in 2004 in Darfur, Sudan.

The Associated Press reported that Kerry made the announcement in order to meet a congressional deadline. Kerry’s announcement comes two days after the fifth anniversary of the start of the war in Syria.

Between January 2014 and October 2015, nearly 19,000 people and counting were murdered in Iraq, according to a February report from the U.N.

A Yazidi Child

Take a good long look…She looks like one of your children doesn’t she?  Blond, blue eyed, could be your daughter or granddaughter.  But unlike your daughter she has no parents and will likely be raped and killed by the monsters of Satan, the Muslim Daesh called ISIS.

So who are the Yazidi’s

The Yazidi ethnic group is one the oldest in Mesopotamia, and they are not Muslim or Arab, Some say they are Kurds but seem to be a mixture of Eastern European and Syrian or Iraqi. They have existed possibly more than 3000 years, they had a population of around 600,000 in Iraq of which 400,000 inhabited the district of Sinjar and 200,000 lived elsewhere in Nineveh and Dohuk Province prior to the events of August 3^rd, 2014. On that day, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) brutally attacked and occupied the Sinjar area after Iraqi Kurdish Forces (the Peshmarga) abruptly withdrew because they received no help from Turkey or’ the U.S.. The fall of Sinjar led to the chaotic exodus of all Yazidis from Sinjar District where at least 150,000 fled to the autonomous Kurdish Region and thousands became entrapped on Mt. Sinjar and its adjacent villages.

The surrounded Yazidis endured grim conditions with little or no food or water for many days. The assistance that finally came in the form of US airstrikes and extraordinary help from Yazidi rescuers and Syrian Kurdish Protection Units (YPG) finally broke the desperate siege on Mt. Sinjar. Many more people, mostly children, infants and the elderly, died of dehydration and exposure during their ordeal on the mountain and the evacuation process.

This catastrophe displaced the vast majority of the Sinjar District population to Iraqi Kurdistan, Syrian Kurdistan, and Turkey. Moreover, Yazidis from the Nineveh plain towns of Bashiqa, Bahzani, Mahad, Shikhan and other villages were forced to flee as well when their areas left undefended. The displaced Yazidi community continues to face a humanitarian crisis; tens of thousands are homeless and unsupported and suffer from malnutrition and health issues or murdered. Yazidi children are the most vulnerable group.

Based on all the available data, compelling evidence suggests that a genocide is taking place against the Yazidi ethnic group in Sinjar District whose scale has yet to be fully accounted for as the Sinjar region remains contested and many mass graves still remain under ISIL control.  It’s beginning to look like Poland and German death camps after the Second World War.  

I urge the international community to recognize ISIL’s assault against the Yezidi people as an act of genocide.

THE BOTTOM LINE: So why did I title this article “We Must Annihilate The Daesh/ISIS?”

I say this at the risk of losing half my readers again as I did in ‘2007’ because of the article titled “The Solution.”  It was also a prediction of what we are experiencing today, because we didn’t carry out the only solution to this problem then.  In another 10 years it will be too late.

While it may be distasteful to some, and outrageous to others, it is exactly what needs to be done, quickly and at all costs. 

I have watched fire fighters set fires, called backfires, in order to stop a raging fire that was about to consume an entire town or community.  Something the country of Canada may have to do to prevent the destruction of the entire province of Alberta. That fire has already spread to the neighboring province of Saskatchewan.  

So unless we are willing to chance ISIS spreading and gaining control in Europe and then in the U.S. turning our country into the barbarism of the Middle East, we must backfire and commit total genocide against ISIS.

Donald Trump has said he would carpet bomb the region until there is nothing left.  In looking down the road at the alternative, I think I have to agree.  The alternative is world domination, devastation and total brutal subjugation by the ‘Nation Of Islam’/ the Daesh.

It does no good to turn a blind eye, ignore, or pretend this problem doesn’t exist. It will not magically go away.

It’s a matter of self-preservation and self-defense…
