Obama Turning Terrorists Loose In U.S.

If al-Barrack Hussein Obammah had his way he would turn all the Guantanamo terrorists loose in your neighborhoods.
A CALL TO ACTION

By de Andréa
May 20, 2009

Why would Obama do this? Because that is what Muslims do. He is bound by his Islamic religion to carry out the jihad on all the infidel nations of the world. And since he is the dictator of America he will start with this nation.

Oh! You don’t think he’ll do this? Well I have news for you my friend he is in the process of doing just THIS as I write this article. Moreover he will CARRY THIS OUT unless congress stops him.

Obama may release two terrorists from Gitmo --- Fox News reported it yesterday morning at 8:02 Central Time. According to the breaking news, the Obama administration is considering releasing two Chinese Muslim Uighur militants into the United States immediately. These are radicals that have been trained by al Qaeda.

This is NOT a transfer to another prison, but a release on American soil. The Fox News reporter stated that this report of an imminent release had not yet been confirmed by the Obama administration, so by the time you read this article there will likely be more updated news on this fiasco.

Regardless of how this particular story ultimately plays out, it is clear to me that Washington needs to hear our voice – your voice – to ensure that no Guantanamo terrorist is released or transferred into the United States.

These detainees will be released on American soil – and they will be provided with tax-paid public assistance benefits!!

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!

If you want to make your voice heard! Click here to sign a petition put out by Brigitte Gabriel and the ACT organization opposing the release or transfer of any Gitmo terrorist.

Would you like for example to have any of these men living in your community and near your family? Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, who al Qaeda’s military commander called a “highly professional jihadist,” how about Wailed Bin Attash, who survived a suicide bombing attack against a U.S. embassy in Africa, or Gouled Hassan Dourad, the leader of the al Qaeda terrorist cell in Djibouti.

With President Obama’s Executive Order closing the Guantanamo Bay detention facility, the very real possibility exists that ruthless, cold-blooded terrorists like these will be brought to the continental United States. Why? Because they are so dangerous that no other country will take them!! Opposition is building to these proposals, both in Congress and at the grassroots level. I need you to take action TODAY to let our elected officials know that we OPPOSE transferring or releasing any of the Guantanamo detainees into America.

ACTION ITEM #1
Click here to sign a petition to Congress entitled:

“We Oppose the Release of ANY Guantanamo Facility Detainee into the United States and Providing Any Tax-Paid Public Benefits to Any Detainee”

Please sign this petition right away, and then follow the directions at the bottom of the petition to forward it to everyone you know! We need to get as many people as possible to sign this petition right away!

It only takes a few moments to add your name to our petition and then forward it on to your friends and family. They need to know there are plans being discussed in Washington to transfer and even release many of these dangerous enemy combatants on to American soil. Give them the chance to add their voices to yours by forwarding the petition on to them as soon as you have signed it. Lisa Piraneo, ACT’s Director of Government Relations, will then deliver this petition to the appropriate congressional leaders.

ACTION ITEM #2
Contact your U.S. Representative and urge him or her to support both of these bills:
H.R. 2294, the “Keep Terrorists Out of America Act.” This bill would require that no detainee could be released or transferred to a state without the approval of that state’s governor or legislature.

H.R. 2338, the “No Welfare for Terrorists Act.” This bill would prohibit any Guantanamo detainee released into the United States from receiving any federal, state, or local public benefits.

You can contact your U.S. Representative by phone, fax, or email. Please click here to get contact information for your Representative.

THE BOTTOM LINE: Together we can protect our communities from these enemies of America and put a stop to the absurdity of rewarding terrorism with the doling out of tax-paid public benefits. A petition with tens of thousands of names, and thousands of calls, faxes and emails, will send an unmistakably loud and clear message to Congress. So please ACT today!!

Bad things happen when good men and women do nothing…

An Update on Gitmo
From Lisa Piraneo
Act for America

GUANTANAMO TERRORISTS COMING TO YOUR COMMUNITY?THE THREAT REMAINS, EVEN AS CONGRESS APPLIES THE BRAKES.

By Lisa Piraneo,
Director of Government Relations
Act for America

Dear de Andrea,

As you know, the goings-on in Congress can be very complicated, and therefore confusing -- perhaps deliberately so. The recent actions by the U.S. House and Senate with regard to the issue of closing the Guantanamo detention facility (and what to do with the 240 terrorists it currently holds) are an example of how a small legislative victory sometimes can be confused with an overall policy change. It is also an example of the tremendous power of grassroots, and how the American public has once again forced its elected officials to listen.

Over the last two weeks, the U.S. House and Senate considered the 2009 Supplemental Appropriations bill. This particular piece of legislation provides “supplemental” funding to a variety of issue-specific projects focusing primarily on Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Pandemic Flu. The bill also was being used as vehicle to fund the President’s plan (and campaign promise) to close the Guantanamo detention facility within one year of his presidency – a plan which possibly included the transfer of some of the 240 terrorist detainees to the United States. Both the House and Senate versions of this appropriations bill initially contained $80 million to be put toward the Guantanamo closure effort.

However, the American people spoke, and Congress got the message – loud and clear. After their constituents let them know, “WE DON’T WANT TERRORISTS IN OUR COMMUNITY” the House and Senate both stripped the $80 million from their versions of the legislation. Congress has informed the Administration that, until it sees a concrete plan for the closure of the Guantanamo detention facility, it will receive no funding to do so.

This action is certainly a victory, but it is by no means the end of the story. There has been no reversal on the decision to close Guantanamo – and there has been no policy reversal by either Congress or the Administration on the possibility of the Guantanamo detainees coming to the U.S. Earlier this week, FBI director Robert Mueller informed the House Judiciary Committee that bringing the detainees into our country would be a risky move, even if they were to be housed in maximum security prisons. "The concerns we have about individuals who may support terrorism being in the United States run from concerns about providing financing, radicalizing others," Mueller said, as well as "the potential for individuals undertaking attacks in the United States."

Congress now waits for the Administration to submit a plan for closing the detention facility. As such a plan is created, it is critical that the American people continue to make their voices heard on this matter. This is simply too important an issue.

Let your voice be heard by taking a brief moment to sign our petition to Congress entitled, “We Oppose the Release of ANY Guantanamo Facility Detainee into the United States and Providing Any Tax-Paid Public Benefits to Any Detainee.” Let Congress know that if and when the Administration does present a plan regarding the closure of the Guantanamo detention facility, it should not include the transfer of ANY Guantanamo terrorist to U.S. soil. If we are successful on this effort, the chances of Guantanamo closing also become quite remote.

If America raises her voice as she did over the last two weeks on this critical issue, Congress will listen.

Sincerely,
Lisa PiraneoDirector of Public RelationsACT! for America -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
